Michael Archard brings a diverse skill set and strong analytics in civil and environmental engineering, construction management, and water resource design projects.

Michael has a strong background in dam engineering and design, geotechnical analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic engineering, and water resource system analysis. He has extensive experience with finite element modeling, hazard assessments and various CAD software systems.

Michael has served in the role of resident engineer and project engineer on several dam rehabilitation and inspection projects. Michael has also served in the role of construction engineer working with subcontractors, vendors and owner representatives while managing material and equipment pricing and on-site inspection and monitoring services.

Michael has helped in the mediation and resolution of contract disputes by identifying the parties and factors responsible for changes which add cost and schedule delays to projects. He has also reviewed contractor claims for for labor, equipment, and materials, both quantitatively and qualitatively, to evaluate the veracity of these claims.

Michael holds an MEng in civil and environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a BS in civil and environmental engineering at Northeastern University.
